Always ask your child to write the date and title (or learning objective) in their book or on the work sheet. Ask your child to take care with presentation and have pride in their work. Ask your child to look at the home work and decide what they need to do. You might need to read instructions to them. Make sure that your child has somewhere suitable to do their homework such as at a table and away from distractions like TV. Please provide a pencil for your child to write with and a ruler for drawing lines. If you do not have these please come and get them from school. If your child has really concentrated on their homework, praise him or her and tell him or her that you are proud. Return the home work to school on or before the date it is expected.
